<description>I think the main thing we are all looking for in life is truth. Authenticity. You know, Kirk for quite some time, and may still, had at the end of his answering machine message, "Be Real!" What do people want most in life? Money? Friends? Fame? But what is the point of all those things if they don't have authenticity? Money=counterfeit. Friends=fake. Fame=fleeting.
My point is we all want something truthful to hold on to, whether we admit it or not. Christ is the ultimate truth. His Word is truth, but if Christians are no different from the rest of the world then does that display that Christ or His message is true? I think not. My home Pastor, Dean Reynolds, told me some time ago: "Chris(or anyone else), hold on to your integrity because wtihout that you really don't have anything at all." Our integrity is based on Christ who is truth.
I think that Buncombe Road Baptist, Sardis Baptist(my home church), the SBC, you, and I could make an enormous difference in the world by being real in a time when the idea of truth itself is questioned to the core. Just a thought. :)

<description>Eddie, I want to thank you for being my pastor for the last five years. You have been such an encouragement for my family during these past five years and we feel we are so blessed to have you as our pastor. We adore your beautiful family and are so thankful they are part of our lives. Thank you for giving Rickey and I such a beautiful ceromony on Saturday. Your words were exactly what I wanted and I am always thankful that you are in tune with what our God would have you say. Our family prays for you and your family constantly and we continue to ask God to bless you all. Thank you again for your service to us and our church. We love you! The Davis'</description>
